Below are the Top Performers in our group. Each a leader within the company helping to provide more than just entertainment. These wonderful people help put on incredible shows for a variety of events and special occasions. We are celebrating our 8th Year together! Many of us have known each other much longer and have played together for years as professional musicians. I am so proud of everyone who has made this company what it is and continues to hold up the highest standards both professionally and in our personal lives.

John Kevin Crum – Company President

My autobiography – JK Crum I was born in Columbus Ohio in October of 1966 and nearly 60 years old. Played professionally now for over 20 years. I began in a small town of Buckeye Lake in Ohio at the age of 25, and play a variety of instruments including guitar, banjo, mandolin, piano, trumpet, percussion and a vocalist for the group.  I am a Singer Songwriter and ReverbNation Recording Artist. As an accomplished musician and member of the American Federation of Musicians I’ve played a variety of events and private parties. I am a US Navy Veteran, a publisher, producer, and event manager among the many responsibilities.

After serving in the Navy “John Kevin Crum” age 23, I began my career as a pump mechanic and diesel generator technician. I worked for a contractor in Largo Florida for nearly 30 years achieving a level of success I had only dreamed of on the farm in Ohio where I came from. Known then by the name John Crum my employer provided me an education and opportunities including vocational schools, leadership development and business management courses which I took advantage of. I honed my skills as a professional repair technician and for the last 10 years of my career as a salesman and business manager. I decided to retire in 2016 when my wife passed away. I served as her caregiver for 3 years and upon her death she told me to “go and do what I loved” I had played for many years in bands on the weekend and this was the defining moment. She knew it was my passion. I had the choice to return to work or submit my resignation. The one life changed forever, and another came into existence as if an offshoot of a parallel reality spang up in the blink of an eye, I lost everything.

Known to my family and closest friends for my entire life as Kevin, I decided to stop using John. Kevin is my middle name, and the name mom always called me by. After my wife’s passing, my personal life became a simple one centered around the music I loved. My goal is to serve Veterans and seniors. I founded Jk Crum Entertainment LLC and registered my business as a Florida Corporation in December of 2017.

Fast forward until today and I can say I’m alive! I was blessed to find love and was hitched in the fall of the year 2019 on a pirate ship! Yep, thar might be a story here that you can find in our exclusive content in my first publicized Barns and Noble eBook! – DIY Party Planning Jk Crum

I want to introduce the band. Most of them have been playing with us long before we started the business. Most bands will start and die withing months or weeks. We’ve been playing together 20 years and are all exceptional musicians. Some of the members play for acclaimed tribute bands and two have chart topping hits from the 70’s. They are all part time and independent musicians who we work with because of their commitment to professionalism and their kindness and generosity. I am honored to call each of them my friend and love them all like family.

Volunteers and Servers

Lastly, I want to introduce and to thank those who have played a part or a role in our shows. There are so many that I can’t name them all here nor does my brain allow me to remember that far back. These special people have filled in for the cast at times to be an understudy for parts in shows that challenge even a seasoned professional’s skills.

We also wish to give a shout out to all of our activity directors and health care workers for their participation in our shows. We recruit them often as they walk by during our shows with residents at senior living facilities. It’s a lot of fun to have someone unexpectedly become a part of the music program. The residents really enjoy seeing staff and guests dance their way across the lobby during happy hour. Some even sing for us. We found some very talented activities directors and even a few Maintenace personnel who sing like true professionals.
